Scouts BSA Troop 98 delivers an action‑packed Scouting experience for boys and girls ages 11 to 17 years old, where adventure, leadership, and service come together. As a truly youth‑led troop, our Scouts take charge -- electing their own Senior Patrol Leader and working through the Patrol Leaders' Council to plan unforgettable experiences alongside supportive adult mentors. From campouts, camporees, and day hikes to summer camp, high‑adventure treks, service projects, and special events, Troop 98 is always on the move -- building confidence, character, and lifelong skills on the exciting journey toward Eagle Scout.
Troop 98 holds weekly troop meetings throughout the school year on Monday nights from 7 to 8:30 PM; we meet at St. Anthony of Padua Church and School's Margot Hall, 3400 12th Street, NE, Washington, D.C.
Scouts usually begin gathering around 6:50 PM, so we can start promptly at 7:00 PM, and finish at 8:30 PM.
