Troop 98 is planning our next High Adventure, the New River Experience at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, and enjoying. This trek is a 50-mile paddle trek on the New River in West Virginia, based out of the Summit Bechtel Reserve Scout camp, near Beckley, WV.
Our trek will be in early August 2022, likely departing DC on AUG 4, 5, or 6 for a trip that will run a total of 8 days (1 day transit out, 7 days at camp/on the river, with travel back on the last day).
